We put a lot of time into teaching the sounds of Spanish (phonics). The approach is the foundation of our Elementary Spanish resources as well as something we reinforce a lot at the start of learning Spanish in Middle School. There are several phonics resources I’ve uploaded to the site. Just search for ‘phonics’ and they should come up.

Thanks for sharing. I need to tweak it for my Italian classes, but this is a great head start to save so much time starting from scratch.

Thanks so much, Rachel, I was at one of your trainings a couple of weeks ago and it really inspired me to teach phonics and sounds to my students. I will therefore make good use of these amazing resources !!
