About This Lesson

The set design and lighting of Henri Oguike’s ‘Front Line” was created by Guy Hoare. The stage is black and it has a white cyclorama. This minimal setting doesn’t detract away from the dancers movements. It also has no obstacles on the floor so it is safe for dancing. The lighting is up of separate parts: the floodlights shine on the dancers creating huge shadow that exaggerate the frenetic atmosphere of the dance;
