About This Lesson
A TESiboard activity to explore the concept of improper fractions and mixed fractions in the context of pizzas. Choose the pizza trays for packing the slices and then fill them, counting whole boxes and partial boxes. The different levels create more problem-solving at the start. At level 1 you just choose the correct box. At level 2 you are told the box but have to say exactly how many you need. At level 3 you have to choose both box and number.
