Share out the UFOs unequally between the planets. Explore the fractions created, then extend on the idea of sharing between groups to that of reducing fractions, eg 6/12 to 1/2. Ask students what will happen if you move a UFO from one planet to another? The total number of UFOs remains the same - do the fractions still add up to 1?
