About This Lesson
This polydron booklet used to be available to download from the owner's website. It has some great ideas for what to make with polydrons and patterns to follow. Aligned with Common Core State Standard: 6.G.4 Geometry: Solve real-world and mathematical problems involving area, surface area, and volume.
I have polydron in my classroom and use it for making 3D shapes and thats about it. Lovely to read some useful ideas using a resource I already have - I'm really looking forward to trying out the extending patterns tomorrow - a really open ended practical lesson idea. Thank you
