About This Lesson
Students watch a film, "Wright's Law" by Zack Conkle, about a unique high school physics teacher and his perspective on life. In this lesson, students discuss the meaning of empathy and what role it plays in their lives. In a classroom discussion, students explore the themes of social and emotional learning and positive role models. Reflective writing prompts are also included to demonstrate students' understanding of the story.
