About This Lesson
This lesson plan is designed to teach High School students about the causes of the Civil War. Focusing on the compromises that limited or prohibited slavery and the economies of the North and South in the years leading up to the Civil War. This lesson plan is aligned to Common Core and National Council for the Social Studies standards and has been endorsed by the History Channel.
