About This Lesson

In this activity, students will interpret primary and secondary sources to evaluate the role that Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon played in the development of the space program. Students will analyze their responses in meeting challenges of the space race and their effectiveness in doing so.
