About This Lesson

The 2016 Presidential Primary season seemed longer than any other. Many presidential hopefuls officially announced their candidacy in late 2014, almost two years before the election. Campaigning started very early and with the expanding use of technology, more and more people have become aware of primary politics. Many students may understand that the United States uses primaries, but need to know what primaries are, how they came to be, and how they have changed.
