About This Lesson

We curated our favorite primary sources for classes that focus on 20th and 21st century American and global history, economics and philosophy. Resources are appropriate for a variety of learners. High school teachers may choose to select excerpts and have students do interpretation, analysis and argumentative writing exercises, while college bound and university students may find our materials helpful for research. Primary sources include select materials since the organization's founding in 1914 as well as collections on the Iraq War and the global financial crisis.

Our primary source index can be found here.
