About This Lesson

Activity involving square numbers and factors. Guards lock/unlock numbered cells following a set of instructions. At the end; the cells which are left open are those with a square number because they are the only numbers with an odd number of factors. Aligned with Common Core State Standards: 4.OA.3, Operations and Algebraic Thinking.
