Problem circuit

A good starter or wrap up activity. Personally I have not thought of using this activity before I saw it on the practical physics website. The students have to add an extra wire to a circuit and explain the difference. Some students will spot the error in the circuit straight away, but explaining why the second circuit will test their thinking and literacy skills and can be used for afl. I would ask the technicians to set up the circuits for the students.
