About This Lesson
This is a good literacy center activity. Copy & laminate the word board. Each student gets a board. Students take turns shaking a die & reading the word that is in that column. The word is listed 4 times. To add an element of fun to the activity, I give each student a small pumpkin eraser that they can move down the column as they read. This activity gives the students a lot of practice reading & listening to high frequency words. The words can be customized for different ability levels.
