About This Lesson

This is the second lesson of 10 in a geometry unit on 2D and 3D shapes. Students have studied the attributes of triangles in the previous lesson and here, build on their existing knowledge as they are introduced to the idea of quadrilaterals as a subset of polygons. They work in pairs, individually and as a class to explore new content. Aligned to Common Core State Standard: 2.G.1
