About This Lesson
This assessment is meant to refocus students who have trouble answering questions. I found that many of my students were not addressing the questions being asked (how or why) and were instead just explaining facts that were related to the topic(s) of the question. So this gives them an example of how to NOT answer questions by simply explaining the components, followed by 9 questions about topics such as Buddhism and Asoka, Hammurabi's code, Mansa Musa, the spread of Islam, and Shi Hunagdi/Ancient China.
