About This Lesson
Lesson on the extended metaphor in 'Quickdraw'. I provided students with the comparison table and success criteria table on paper; as well as the quotations that each group would be working on so that they could annotate these. Teamwork placemats (paper split into 4 - each member of the group writes their own ideas and then they share these ideas in the middle of their sheet) were used to gather ideas on the literal meanings - group work.
