About This Lesson

As a supplement to creative writing lessons, this writing instruction video uses fun examples to demonstrate how students can use the try-fail-cycle technique to maintain and raise plot tension in their stories to engage and keep the reader's interest. The Try-Fail-Cycle Presentation can be used by teachers to review with students the steps and aspects of the try-fail-cycle.
