About This Lesson
We are going to have a different kind of fun on this episode of Ready Set Draw! Our friend, artist and illustrator, Kristen Balouch is joining us with her sweet, new book, IF YOU ARE THE DREAMER. Kristen not only wrote the book, but created the images, as well, using a technique called collage.
A collage is when you cut different colors, patterns, and textures of paper to make a picture or illustration. So, today, we’re going to try making dreamy collages of the bear, bunny, and skunk from IF YOU ARE THE DREAMER.
All you’ll need to follow along with Kristen is different colored paper, scissors, and some glue (a glue stick is easiest, if you have one).
