These 3 project ideas are for students after a Reconstruction, Civil Rights Movement, or contemporary African-American history unit. They ask students to develop a plan for Reconstruction that ACTUALLY helps former enslaved persons, creating a method of activism for the Civil Rights Movement, or analyzing a song that has to do with African-American history.
