About This Lesson

I have used this assignment for multiple time periods (American Civil Rights, Enlightenment, etc) and can be applied to almost all time periods. Students will choose a major figure from the time period, draw/trace their image, and then explain that person's perspective through their senses (smell, taste, touch, see, and hear). Students have to get pretty creative. Ex. Martin Luther: I SEE the use of indulgences, sullying my faith.
