About This Lesson

We often talk about Congress’ main job of passing laws. However, Congress has many other powers/duties. What are they and how is Congress currently using their powers/performing their duties? This student centered activity requires learners to analyze the non-lawmaking powers/duties of the current Congress using digital media from C-SPAN’s video library.
