Used to introduce rounding - 3 differentiated handouts attached. All children able to round a two and three digit number. Higher achievers went on to rounding decimal numbers. Aligned with Common Core State Standards: 3.NBT.1, Number and Operations in Base Ten.

I think this is a useful resource but agree that perhaps there could be more examples.. though this is easy to edit yourself

The powerpoint is nicely done. Students will respond well to the approach and it's very cute and engaging. The numberline approach helps students to visually see the numbers which makes the nearest 10 or 100 easier to determine.

Looks engaging for middle grades! I would suggest that the word "suppose" be changed to "supposed". Thanks for sharing!
