About This Lesson

Using these lessons, students will be able to identify conflict and contrast in a variety of texts and connect them to the themes of the texts. They will develop an understanding of how contrasting perspectives create conflict in life and literature and how literary techniques are used to convey meaning as they perform analysis of literary devices in a variety of texts and present a thematic analysis to the class using a visual aid.CCSS: RL.9-10.1, RI.9-10.1, W.9-10.2, SL.9-10.1, L.9-10.1 & more
