About This Lesson
This is an adapted version from Tessd - thought I'd add it as a resource to help. The template provided by Tessd is brilliant and can be used to promote investigation by students who aren't big fans of algebra in the first place and find expanding and simplifying confusing!!!!
This is a lovely resource to use for consolidation although I wouldn't that it would help to improve understanding for those who find it confusing. The PowerPoint is basically a game of snap, students have to shout ‘yeehaw’ if the two expressions match which I bet they would love. You could print the cards and cut them so students could play a more traditional game of snap if you wanted. I really like this and will use it as a wrap up when teaching simplification of algebra.
