About This Lesson

Students investigate what happens to spoonfuls of sugar as they are added to and then allowed to dissolve in a glass of water. They predict what they think will happen and whether or not the dissolving solution will reach a 'saturation point'.

The investigation recording sheets develop many different scientific skills. It is a very useful resource to teach 'saturation points'.
