About This Lesson
A sheet that can be used for children to record their findings and experiences when conducting a shadow experiement. Experiment can be as follows:Take children outside and allow them to work in pairs to draw around their feet and then their shadow. Take the children otuside twice more during the day and ensure they stand in the same 'foot' marking and draw around their shadow again.Children can discuss why the shadow has moved and record their results by drawing and writing on the sheet.
