One of the most underused functions of the TI84 calculator is the solver function. This function allows the user to either check their answer, or to find a solution to an equation that they are unable to solve. The keys to this function are that the equation must be equal to zero and the user must be able to input “guesses.” The other key to using the solver function is the user must be able to properly use parentheses. MathPrint does not work on the Solver.
