About This Lesson
<p>A chance to extend children by asking them to sort a variety of materials into Solids and Liquids but with the added question of ‘Which ones could you argue for a Solid or a Liquid?” This will extend those children looking at Changing States. The discussion that takes place to identify those materials that have similar properties to both solids and liquids will ensure children use scientific vocabulary and reasoning skills to make their choice.</p>
