About This Lesson

Angles practiced are 45, 90, 135 and 180; language used ties in with 'LOGO' used in many Primary IT schemes of work. Point the spider at a fly, using left turn or right turn and then set the angle. Next enter a distance to move across the web. Two helpful overlays will guide students towards estimating these angles and distances and lay foundations for protractor work. For a warm-up activity, try Chameleon; for extension, try Mole Maze.
