About This Lesson
Context: This standards-based unit plan is an 11 Hours/2 weeks unit plan and is about teaching Algebra II to grade twelve students. This class is about 60 minutes. There are 33 students in the class: 3 SN students, 15 ELL students, 5 Gifted students, and 10 regular students. The seating arrangement is Mix and Match, the class is divided into 6 groups of 5 students, plus the 3 SN students seating raw style. This unit plan is prepared specifically for EL students, they will join native English students during group-based activities depending on the assignment type plus authentic assessment is used to evaluate student learning in accordance to Common Core State Standards and ELD standards specified for each lesson.
