Will work nicely to front load The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian.

The lesson plan is great but the article associated with it is NOT appropriate for 6-10 grades. I'm so glad that I did not totally trust "Teaching Tolerance" on this one. I would have been in a lot of hot water with my students parents and administrator over the sexual innuendos in the article. I emailed Teaching Tolerance and voiced my frustration. I completed the lesson without the article....too sexual.

This is soooo wrong! I loved

This is soooo wrong! I loved Tonto and his positive image of a caring, helpful and law-abiding individual. He also was part of the team the Lone Ranger and Tonto! His horse was beautiful too. I had a stretchy man of Tonto loved that.
