This would make a really nice computer lesson on averages, which also brings in some financial awareness. Students have to shop around for some different prices for a product and then calculate averages of these prices in excel. The instructions are clear and there are some screen shots which make it easy to follow. I can imagine students being really engaged in this lesson and it teaching them some useful skills. Thank you for sharing.

This is not a mathematics activity. It is a Digital Citizenship activity. Students are performing NO MATHEMATICS as it is written, it could be modified so that the student actually performs the mathematical operations of mean, medium and mode.
