About This Lesson
Set of differentiated questions for subtraction which have been set out to help children learn how to present their work in the correct column. The crack the code activity includes questions for children to solve which will then mean they can work out the hidden message e.g. A = 217- 32. The need to solve all the clues where all the information is provided first. Then solve the questions where answers are needed e.g. E = A - 100. When they have solved the questions they can write the letters next to the correct numbers in the hangman style clue.
