About This Lesson
A story of joining in with the Ten Little Teddy Bears. A rhyming story where each page another Teddy Bear joins and allows the children to predict the numbers that come next in the sequence to ten. The familiarity with rhyming may help children, who are not fluent in counting, reason what the next number would be but over time, children will be able to use their counting skills to make the counting connection. A great way to reinforce counting in a fun, predictable way. Can also be adapted to use with ten frames. Aligned with CCSS K.CC.4 ECE-MATH
