About This Lesson
This is a Thanksgiving activity. There are six sentences that start with the stem, "I am thankful for my____." The words in each sentence are put on individual cards. The cards are run on card stock paper and laminated. Each sentence is put into a Ziplock bag. Students work in pairs to put the sentences together and then record the sentence on the recording sheet. Students that struggle with writing only write the name of the thing they are thankful for on the recording sheet.
