About This Lesson

As history becomes tangible, WWI will come alive in the classroom when students work with artifacts. Using their senses, observations, past knowledge and critical thinking skills in this lesson by John Heeg, teacher fellow at the National WWI Museum and Memorial, students will learn to think like a historian to determine what historic artifacts can tell them about the past.
