About This Lesson

Touch is a special sense that can communicate a lot of different things, even a mother's love. In this tactile activity, reader's of Science Naturally's Cuddled and Carried will learned about the importance of animal skin types through touching a variety of easily-sourced materials. This activity encourages children to use their knowledge of animals to classify and sort objects and make comparisons and predictions.
