About This Lesson

This lesson plan is for high school biology grades 9-11. It focuses on transcription, translation, and the digestive system. The lesson plan focuses on using videos for students to learn about the main steps of transcription, translation, and the digestive system. Although these points may not correlate much, they are put together in this lesson plan as the Next Generation Science Standards are being followed in order. By using YouTube videos, students will be able to annotate the main points in a notebook as well as look back at the video at home or wherever they go. We are promoting the use of technology resources to relate to the students and stay away from traditional book reading techniques.
