Treasure Hunt activity (like match cards but round the classroom - see instructions) on how a transformation will effect the graph of f(x). e.g. translation in x direction by +4 becomes f(x - 4)

A nice idea for an activity on the topic of transforming functions. It is based on a card loop game but requires pupils to go around the classroom hunting for their answers and trying to complete a loop of the questions. Can be easily adapted for any other topic in math and is a fun and engaging way to start/end a lesson with.
