About This Lesson
students are either given a blue or a red shape on a grid. The aim of the game is to "pair up" with the pupil who has their shape after it has been translated 2 units to the left or the right depending on the color.It gets students thinking about co-ordinates and visualising how their shape might look after translation. I used it with a low-ability Year 5 set.
