About This Lesson
In this lesson, students will first learn about disabilities. Then they will learn tips for communicating respectfully with people with disabilities. These activities were designed to help students increase knowledge about people with disabilities and explore ways to communicate sensitively with people with disabilities.
Great idea to teach students about disabilities. It would benefit teachers if in the lesson plan resources for students to read was included.
