About This Lesson

In this unit, students will learn about the controversy over slavery between the North and the South. They will learn about the U.S. Civil war and how the end of the war also meant the end of slavery. Students will also learn about Harriet Tubman, Clara Barton, Abraham Lincoln,Ulysses S. Grant, and Robert E. Lee.
