Some of the colonies that were not in Virginia or Massachusetts.

Pennsylvania was (briefly) a haven of religious freedom, and William Penn dealt relatively fairly with the natives his colony displaced and we venture as far south as the Carolina colonies, where the slave labour economy was taking shape.

The animation is helpful for students, but he speaks quickly. This video should be stopped at key moments to allow students time to process the information and have short discussion. Taking notes would be highly recommended and maybe even watching the video twice. This would work for online learning or a flipped classroom.
