About This Lesson
Students will observe and discuss the image of Our Lady of the Victory of Málaga, then use visual clues found at the bottom of the painting and symbolic representations presented throughout the artwork, as well as learned information, to write a narrative description detailing their interpretation of the artist’s intent.
Assumes too much teacher background knowledge. Also, at least three lessons.
