About This Lesson
In creative writing lessons; children often complain that they can’t think of anything to write. They also find the prospect of writing a long story quite daunting. These very different; but very short stories; have all been used by children's author Roger Hurn to catch children’s imaginations and help them to see that a good story does not have to be a full length novel to have a beginning; middle and a satisfying end! In fact; once they see how much fun these little stories are they can’t wait to try and write their own.
This resource can be very useful in engaging students to write short stories.
