About This Lesson
This DBQ asks students to discuss the positive and negative impacts of political and economic systems in Western Europe during the Middle Ages. The documents are about the Medieval hierarchy (Pope, kings, lords, knights, peasants), an image of a manor, the decentralized European economy, the Commercial Revolution, the Crusades, and the Black Death.
