About This Lesson
Students will enjoy exploring nature and the world around them with these outdoor mystery riddles. K-2 students must read the riddle and discover the word that fills in the blank. They are written as rhyming poems to give children a clue.
Explore your home or school as your students try to solve the mystery. Students will discover trees, water, mud, leaves, animal tracks, rocks, and more! Perfect for an outdoor learning activity in either English Language Arts or Science. Either print and hand out the whole worksheet, or cut up into cards and laminate for learning centers.
