About This Lesson

Directions: This graphic organizer can be assigned whenever students are asked to read informational text independently or with a small group. The organizer has students reflect on new vocabulary, questions for discussion and new information learned. It also holds the students accountable for reading the text because it requires them to include page numbers to tell where they found the information in the reading. Can be used for ELA, Science, Social Studies and any other subjects that require students to read informational text. Common Core: Grades 4-12 RI.10 and Grades 4-10 RF4c
