About This Lesson

Research Project based on the book entitled "White Bread: A Social History of the Store-Bought Loaf" by Aaron Bobrow-Strain, students will discover the various symbolisms for White Break throughout history (e.g., Political, Economic, Social and Religious meanings) including a focus on whether society should concern itself with how people relate through food, rather than on what we eat (e.g., good food versus bad food).
