About This Lesson
Visual Arts and Science lessons with Common Core Standards, geared to elementary students, grades K-5, that can be modified for other ages and grade levels. Visual art focus with students drawing, painting or creating items from video A Whale's Tale (YouTube - http://bluesteam.org/video/ ) or researching Antarctica. Science focus is habitat and experimenting with media, especially value in paint. Speaking and listening are required components of this integrated unit. Additional wildlife should live in the Antarctic habitat.
